I made this image the moment I heard that the last northern white rhyno, Sudan, passed away. Here I wanted to express caring for one of the last species that have come to extintion. The flowers are a symbol for "vanitas", latin for something that fades away with time. The Mother and the Child are present, accompanying the rhyno on its last journey to the beyond.
